Begin Again
Fresh. It’s my word for 2021. It’s such a good word—-and just feels clean and fabulous. I actually really love to say it, “freshhhhhh”. Ahhhh. It’s a delight to “meet” you here, on my refreshed website. All the old blogposts—-well, I’ve archived them. Today, though. It’s time to lighten. To let go. (Perhaps you feel the same). To notice that this is a fresh page. A new season. Truly, it feels juicy and liberating. Like painting a room a bold new color. Deleting that which once served, and now—-well, it’s a new day. A new dawn. (Sounds like lyrics to a song! Ba-bam!)
You may know that I’m a graduate of the CoActive Institute’s (formerly CTI) Leadership Program. Such in-my-bones-and-cells good stuff. (Highly recommend this, BTW, for anyone wanting to stretch themselves in an experiential immersive journey of nine months. Not for the faint of heart!) I’m riffing on it right now because not only am I awash in gratitude for all it brought me—-like to this moment and you—- but because I’ve entitled this post “Begin Again”. Straight out of CTI. Here’s what it means. Each moment—-we always have potentiality. Most of us engage with life with a positive impact in mind. An outcome. A dream. You get my drift. However, we all know that that’s NOT what happens sometimes. Not even close. And so—-here’s where the magic comes in. We always have a choice. To BEGIN AGAIN. Really. We always have that choice. And, if we can expect this—-well, life just gets more flow-y. (Full disclosure: I simply adore playing with and sometimes making up words. Kind of my jam. Hope you’ll join me in this creative play-space, and roll with the evolution from my fingertips to your synapses. I hope the words will spark something in you…and that you’ll dance with them, and play with me here.) So, here WE are! Let’s begin. Or, let’s begin again —depending upon if you’ve landed here for the first time—-or are migrating over from my Lynns Big Red Couch website. I promise—-there will be lots of Big Red Couch energy here, too!
Cheers! Let’s “Begin Again!”
